After the success of Woodland View in Great Sutton Archway Homes was delighted to find a hidden gem in The Chase. This was originally a large Art Deco mansion sitting in around an acre of gardens. By the time Archway Homes got to know about it, the mansion had been stripped of much of its finery and was not only derelict but also had a planning permission to replace it with new homes.
Situated off the A41 and close to Cheshire Oaks and all its amenities but still managing to remain secluded, the site turned out to be the perfect setting for an exclusive development of just nine 4 bedroom detached properties that were traditionally built with style and elegance.
Exceptional attention to detail is the ethos of Archway Homes. As such the homes at The Chase were built with impressive finishes that included chrome light and power sockets throughout and oak veneer internal doors, also with chrome door furniture, that lead from room to room. Customers were offered a wide range of wall tiles and kitchen unit choices for the well-designed kitchen, which had NEFF integral appliances included. The master bedrooms were fitted with Hammond's wardrobes and the en-suite and family bathrooms had Twyfords white sanitary ware with chrome fixtures. Informal areas downstairs allowed for family time and had French doors that provided access to the fully turfed rear gardens.
The Chase was mainly designed using homes from the existing Archway Homes portfolio. However, there was a house type which was based on a more traditional layout with the kitchen at the front of the property. The overwhelming opinion of customers was that they preferred an open plan family kitchen dining space at the rear, overlooking the garden. In response to this The Pine was redesigned and The Poplar was born. This house type has proved an exceptionally popular addition to the Archway Homes housing range.
